- Submit a request, signed by parent or guardian, to school nurse's office.
- Submit written permission from a physician with exact dosage and directions.
- Parent must bring medicine, in original container, to school.

Contact the building principal, K-6, or school counselors at the secondary level. For short-term illness, students should make arrangements with friends to get books and assignments.
What is the procedure for resolving a problem?
Phone teacher first, then principal, then supervisor or department director, then superintendent, then board of education if the problem has not been resolved. It is important to follow this order in solving problems. Procedures for filing a written complaint or appeal to the district or to the state are available in the superintendent's office and can be found here.
How do I inform the board of education of an opinion or a problem?
Attend the public meetings of the board. A public hearing is open for comments, questions, and concerns. Per policy #1514, Any person wishing to address the board must contact the district clerk by 3:00 p.m. on the day of a board meeting with their name, address, and topic they wish to speak about.
